It’s time once again for the Annual Yellow Dress Suicide and Awareness Fundraising Run/Pub Crawl.
The flag returns to us from our neighbors in Charlotte and this year your hosts will be the Upstate Hash House Harriers. Join us as we take over the town for three days of spreading awareness about a cause that is near and dear to our hearts. Our goal is to be as visible as possible and raise money for a local charity. We are finalizing the exact charity at the time of this writing, but it will be local, and it will have a mission of suicide prevention and awareness.
Your weekend starts with a themed pre lube mini pub crawl trail in the town of Greer. We will be crashing their Renaissance Faire in Geer’s downtown park and our theme for the evening is Yellow Renaissance. Use your imagination, but keep it PG, as we will no doubt be encountering young damsels and squires as we pass through the park. We will be starting at 7pm at a location to be determined.
Saturday we will be carrying our commemorative flag and message as well as our collection vessels through downtown Greenville starting at 1pm. After the crawling is over, we hope to be continuing the evening with a special treat to be announced soon. Location of start will be coming.
Sunday is a day of rest, is everybody happy? You will be, as we plan to take over Roost for their Greenville famous Sunday Brunch. We need you to rego so we know how many people will be joining us for an all you can eat brunch buffet. We will take care of the reservation, you just have to bring some money, so don’t spend it all on Friday and Saturday. It’s 26 bucks to stuff your face, 17 more for bottomless mimosas.
Crash space is available, but our crash master is planning a wedding, so hop on our private group and follow the crash space thread to find a suitable place to crash. No hotel takeover yet, but if we rock the numbers this year, we will consider it when the flag returns in 2026.
